Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - Worth The Hype?

If you've been a long time follower of my blog, you may have noticed I'm a bit of a sucker for a cult product. Whether it's Nars' Laguna or Collection's Lasting Perfection Concealer, I can't seem to resist trying out products everyone raves about. I guess when you're on a budget it's less risky to try something if you know the majority of people have loved it! With that in mind, I'm surprised it took me so long to try the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser but it's finally in my possession and I couldn't be happier.

This starter pack comes with two muslin cloths, a 100ml bottle of the cleanser & a handy how-to guide all for a reasonable price of £15.50. It's a pump dispenser which makes for an easy application as one pump is all you need, plus it keeps mess to a minimum which is always a bonus with me.
It comes out as a white, thick cream which is then massaged into the face and wiped off with the muslin cloth & warm water. It seems like a lot of effort at first but once into the routine of it, I actually started to find it quite relaxing. It's like a mini facial every time I use it!

Packed with skin loving ingredients, this cleanser makes taking off my makeup a dream. It's gentle on my skin and doesn't leave it feeling irritated like most products do, especially round my eye area. It removes all my makeup easily, including my mascara, and leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean without stripping it completely. It has a subtle fresh, slightly herbal scent to it and I really can't fault it.

Obviously it's not the cheapest product on the shelves but at £14 for the cleanser alone, it's not extortionate either. As you only need one pump and I only wear makeup a couple of times a week, it's going to last me a fair while but you definitely get what you pay for when it comes to the quality of the cleanser.

So final verdict - is it worth the hype it receives?
I'd have to say a resounding yes on this one. Definitely one everyone should try at some point, particularly if you have sensitive skin. Have you guys tried this before? What were your thoughts on it?
