Fashion | Festival Looks - Tile Print

As festival season is quickly approaching, I've started to look for inspiration of what to wear to Parklife and thought I'd put together a few lookbooks of trends I think will be big this year. Even though I know I'll end up wearing a waterproof coat over my outfit (yay for Manchester weather), I still find it so much fun picking out my outfits as I feel I can be a bit more daring than usual. Anything goes at a festival, right?

The first trend I've noticed floating around is tile print (or scarf print, as some places are calling it). For me, this is definitely bolder than the outfits I'd normally wear but I really think it would be perfect for a festival especially ones in a warmer climate like Coachella or Tomorrowland. Plus, if you're not brave enough to go all out with a dress or playsuit, you can wear a simple outfit and add a tile print jacket or kimono for a subtle nod to the trend. You could also wear the shorts pictured above with an all black ensemble for a little pop of colour and pattern, making them the focus of the outfit.

As well as being perfect for festivals, I also think tile print would be amazing for summer holidays such as Ibiza, in particular the neon print playsuit above screams 'girls holiday' to me!

Lace Trim Plunge Playsuit £30 - Missguided
Strappy Sundress £30 - Topshop - This has pockets which is a major bonus for festivals
Neon Swing Playsuit £12 - Boohoo
Red Scarf Shirt Dress £28 - Missguided
Floral Shorts £28 - Topshop
Bomber Jacket £55 - Topshop
Cami Jumpsuit £36 - Glamorous (via ASOS)

Are you guys excited for festival season to begin? And what do you think of tile print?
